Sometimes dressing your kids for a play date can leave style to be desired. That's why it's nice to dress up your toddler's hair with a little snazzy in order to spice up their outfits. You can also save money with these tips.

Using sweats to keep your toddler comfy during play time in a dirty play ground may be practical, but it may not be that cute. For boys, you can highlight their personality by giving them a mohawk. That's actually also the easiest haircut to give a toddler boy that does not require much talent, so you can save money at the Barber. You simply get a pair of clippers even from Kmart or Target, and you buzz the sides of the head, leaving the midsection as long as it has been growing. If your sides turn out jagged in length, just keep trimming until they're even. It really doesn't matter how short the sides are or the midsection is long, because that'll just add to the personality of the hair cut.

For girls, dress her up with some cute headbands, and you can do that even with a hairless tot. You can make super cute ones yourself. Just buy a jumbo pack of simple head bands from a regular retail store. then, go to a local fabric store, and get things like fabric flowers, fabric butterflies, ecc, and hot glue gun them to the headbands. I always like them best when the flower or butterfly is glued to the side of the headband, rather than the middle. Just make sure that what you choose to glue on the headband are not choking hazards.

With these simple hair styling ideas, you'll save money, and always make sure that your toddler looks super cute! Even in ratty play clothes!
